Christopher J.J. Thiry has been the Map Librarian at the Colorado School of Mines for almost 12 years. Previously, he worked in the Map Division of the New York Public Library. He holds a BA in history and an MILS from the University of Michigan. He is the editor of the book Guide to US Map Resources. (Presented on Map Collection Basics)<br />Geneva Williamson Mixon has experience working in libraries to bring geographic information and maps to the public. She has worked at academic libraries as a map manager and library research assistant (1998-2003). She was awarded her MA in Geography in 2006 and is currently working as a consultant for the Colorado State Libraries and the Bibliographic Center for Research.
